The service
Kitna Hua is a web app, run by Gautam Anand, for recording shared expenses on group trips and in shared flats and working out who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not hold, move or guarantee money, and it is not a bank, wallet or payment service.
Your account
Use your own phone number and keep your PIN to yourself. You are responsible for what is logged from your account. Balances are only as accurate as the expenses people enter, so check them before you pay anyone.
Do not use Kitna Hua to harass anyone, to record anything illegal, or to try to get into accounts or trips that are not yours. We can deactivate accounts that do.
Plans and prices
Kitna Hua is free today, for up to 2 live trips per account. When paid plans go on sale, the free plan covers one live trip of up to 6 people, a trip pass costs ₹99 and unlocks one trip with no limit on people, and the annual plan costs ₹499 for unlimited trips for 12 months from purchase. Prices include any applicable taxes and are charged in Indian rupees through Cashfree Payments.
If an annual plan ends, nothing is deleted. Every trip keeps working for the people in it; only starting new trips falls back to the free limits.
Changes and liability
We may change the app or these terms. If a change affects what you paid for, we will tell you before it applies.
Kitna Hua is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
